And to that end, Meg has connected with 70,000 teachers across the country, providing them with full lesson plans to help prepare students, as young as kindergarteners, to be active participants in American democracy. Edris Nicholls was fascinated watching her grandmother work her magic as a hair stylist on the island of St. Vincent, and knew at a young age, she wanted to do exactly that. At 15 Edris joined her mother in New York...and eventually perfected her craft at several salons, later working as a freelance stylist in Paris and Milan. Edris opened her own salon in 2003 in Manhattan's Flatiron District. Known for her aesthetic and multicultural approach to her craft, Edris Salon caters to a very diverse clientele. Here's yet another conversation with creative woman who has so much to share.

She grew up devouring Playbill magazines, listened endlessly to musical cast albums, highlighting shows she'd see once she came to the Big Apple. At 18, Jennifer moved to the city to attend NYU. She's been here since. Jennifer parlayed her passion into a career - working for Broadway and Off-Broadway producers, directors and today this 30-something is a musical theater historian, write and producer and....is also the Director of Programming at the esteemed Feinstein's 54/Below and author of The Untold Stories of Broadway book series. Needless to say....Jennifer's got plenty to say!
