Hera Navassardian was 21 when she began modeling for Bob Mackie, Geoffrey Beene, Zandra Rhodes and other famous designers. During her 30+ years in the fashion business, Hera has also worked as a makeup artist and stylist. In 2007 she opened Klymaxx Unlimited, a boutique and transformation studio in Provincetown, Mass. for women AND men that includes the LGBT community. Hera's got plenty to share in this engaging conversation.

It's organized by Lisa Small, the Museum's curator of exhibitions. She takes us on the journey from the 17th century to present day - from traditional Chinese Manchu platforms to Christian Louboutin's 8-inch stilettos, just two of the more than 160 pieces of footwear on display through February, 2015. Deborah Koenigsberger is a force of nature. A successful businesswoman/entrepreneur, her boutique Noir et Blanc has been around since 1989. But, a walk through a Manhattan park 20 years ago, with her young sons proved to be a seminal, life-changing moment. It was there she came upon a mom and her child sleeping in a cardboard box. That prompted Deborah to start Hearts of Gold, a non-profit that provides sustainable changes in the lifestyles and levels of self-sufficiency for homeless moms and their children. More than 30,000 families have benefited from her dedication, commitment and hard work.
