Sheila Head and Norma Lana, two very funny, accomplished and creative women have joined forces both personally and professionally. They first met at voice over auditions - one thing led to another and 4 years ago they got married. Sheila, an actress, comedy writer and improv pro and Norma, also a writer, actress/producer, media trainer put their talents together and are behind the pulpy comedy, "Hollywood Nurses." Sheila's the co-writer, Norma, the producer. In case you had no idea, "the mid-1950s was the heyday of pulp novels and the unique expression of queer sexuality in paperback." Edris Nicholls was fascinated watching her grandmother work her magic as a hair stylist on the island of St. Vincent, and knew at a young age, she wanted to do exactly that. At 15 Edris joined her mother in New York...and eventually perfected her craft at several salons, later working as a freelance stylist in Paris and Milan. Edris opened her own salon in 2003 in Manhattan's Flatiron District. Known for her aesthetic and multicultural approach to her craft, Edris Salon caters to a very diverse clientele. Three years later, The Parents Project was born -- which provides answers to a slew of questions asked by moms and dads whose children had recently come out. The comedian, who grew up in rural Blue Hill, Maine (population 2,000) riffs about life in a very small town, dealing with dyslexia and coming out - which happened as soon as she got to college in Boston. And it was while in Boston that she made a name for herself on that city's comedy circuit. Then it was on to New York, where Emma's appeared at Caroline's and headlined her own sold out show in the New York Comedy Festival at Stand Up New York.
