Jenny Dixon

Jenny Dixon's arts career, which began in 1977, has taken her all over New York City. Since 2003, she has been Director of the Isamu Noguchi Museum in Long Island City, New York. When it opened in 1985, the Noguchi had the distinction of being the only museum in the country created by an artist during his lifetime and dedicated to his work. Noguchi was one of the 20th century's most important and critically acclaimed sculptors.

Michele Westmorland

An internationally recognized underwater and conservation photographer, Michele Westmorland is a much sought after speaker who has lectured all over the world. While her topics are usually about marine and cultural life, she prefers to share the story of a Caroline Mytinger, a young American portrait painter. She and a female friend set out from San Francisco in the 1920s on a 4-year journey to the South Pacific to "record some of these people before they vanished forever." More than 80 years later Michele and her team embarked on a 2-month expedition to retrace their steps. What Michele has to share is riveting.

Bolor Minjin

Meet Mongolian paleontologist Bolor Minjin. She has made protecting and preserving the fossil heritage of the Gobi desert her mission in life. Bolor's the founder and director of the Institute for the Study of Mongolian dinosaurs. In 2012, she was instrumental in stopping the sale of an illegally collected Tyrannosaur baatar skeleton from her country. Hers is a fascinating and not often heard story.

Dr. Maya Tolstoy

You'll find Maya Tolstoy, PhD both on land and on the ocean floor. An Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Columbia, University, she is also a marine geophysicist, who specializes in seafloor earthquakes AND volcanoes. Dr. Tolstoy has participated in 31 ocean-going expeditions - leading or co-leading more than half of them. In 2005, she was part of director James Cameron's expedition that filmed the 3-D Imax documentary "Aliens of the Deep." Does Maya have plenty to share? You betcha!

Janet Hoffman

Jacki Zehner

Jacki Zehner is a woman on a mission. The founder of The Jacquelyn and Gregory Zehner Foundation, she funds and works with a whole host of organizations that focus on women's rights. In 2012, she became CEO of Women Moving Millions. The goal of this non-profit is to mobilize resources for the advancement of women and girls - so far, more than 200 people have given gifts of a million dollars or more.
